Nothing beats the beach on a hot summer day 🌞

今年夏初,我和朋友曾經到烏石港租浪板衝浪,但因為不得要領,總是沒辦法成功站上浪板,大部分時間都在追浪或是跌落板子。
Earlier this summer, I went surfing in Wushi Harbor with some friends. But since I didn’t know the proper techniques, I kept falling off and spent most of the time chasing waves rather than riding them.

這次我決定參加 一日衝浪體驗營,希望能真正享受駕馭海浪的快感!
So this time, I signed up for a one-day surf camp, determined to finally experience the thrill of surfing!

📍 Wushi Harbor Surf Street

在烏石港沙灘前,有一整條「衝浪街」,滿滿的都是衝浪店。因為長期競爭的關係,大家的價格已趨向一致,可以放心挑選自己喜歡的店家。
Right in front of Wushi Beach is “Surf Street,” lined with surf shops. Prices are very similar thanks to years of competition, so you can simply choose the shop you like best.

 

烏石港衝浪|蕃薯衝浪 一日衝浪體驗營

我選擇的是 蕃薯衝浪 Fanshu Surf 的一日體驗營。除了提供租板、教學,他們也販售浪板、衝浪衣等專業裝備。忘帶泳衣或想要專屬浪板的人,都能在這裡找到所需。
I joined the Fanshu Surf one-day surf camp. Besides lessons and board rentals, they also sell surfboards, wetsuits, and surf gear. Perfect if you forgot your swimsuit or want your own board.

 

報名課程或租板,都能使用他們的 淋浴設備、陽傘休息區與防磨衣,非常貼心。
Whether you rent or take lessons, Fanshu provides showers, sunshade seating, and rash guards—super convenient.

 

烏石港衝浪|衝浪勝地

報到後,走小徑幾分鐘就能抵達沙灘。烏石港是台灣知名的衝浪勝地,夏天總是聚集大批衝浪客。浪況穩定,岸邊還有救生員駐點,非常適合初學者。
After checking in, we walked a short path to reach the beach. Wushi Harbor is one of Taiwan’s most famous surf spots, attracting surfers every summer. The waves are consistent, and lifeguards are on duty, making it ideal for beginners.

這裡的浪況好,海灘上也有救生員駐點,因此非常適合衝浪初學者

當天的天氣晴朗,除了衝浪之外,還看到有人在玩降落傘呢

 

只要有參加課程或租板,就能使用陽傘休息區。對衝浪者來說,這真的很重要!因為衝浪非常耗體力,隨時都需要回來補水、休息。
Lesson participants and renters also get access to the shaded lounge area—a lifesaver under Taiwan’s scorching sun, especially since surfing burns a ton of energy.

 

向沙灘上的教練報到之後,今天的課程就正式開始啦

 

烏石港衝浪|上午岸上衝浪教學

正式下水前,教練會在岸上教授基本動作,包括 趴板、起乘、站立。教練先示範,接著讓學員模擬動作,並逐一修正。
Before hitting the water, the instructor taught us the basics on land: paddling, popping up, and standing. He demonstrated first, then corrected our practice moves one by one.

 

上完岸上課程後,就可以拿浪板下水練習了!

進入海裡後,教練會幫忙看浪、固定浪板,甚至在浪來時推板,讓我們能更容易抓到浪。
Once in the water, the instructor helped us catch waves by steadying the board and giving it a push at the right time.

 

雖然一開始重心不穩,常常摔落,但一次次修正後,我終於能站起來,感受到滑行在浪上的快感!
At first, I kept losing balance and falling, but after several tries, I finally stood up and felt the thrill of riding a wave!

 

但大多數的時候,已經可以成功站上浪板,享受衝浪的快感了!

 

烏石港衝浪|午間休息時間

中午有休息時間,可以回到休息區享用便當補充體力。今天吃的是 福隆便當,果然名不虛傳,好吃!
We had a lunch break at noon to recharge. Today’s Fulong lunchbox was delicious—simple but satisfying!

 

烏石港衝浪|下午岸上衝浪教學

下午的課程重點在「划水」。教練提醒我們,划水需要手臂有足夠的力量,並且雙手要平均用力,才不會讓浪板偏斜。
In the afternoon, we focused on paddling. The instructor emphasized the need for strong strokes with both arms evenly, to keep the board straight.

除了手臂划水的力道要夠大,推動的力量才夠之外

兩手划水的力道也要平均,才不會導致浪板歪斜

並且要看準適合的浪,在適當的時機上板

 

接著就是實戰!這時除了划水之外,還要自己判斷浪況、選擇時機起乘。
Then came the real challenge—catching waves ourselves. This required paddling, reading the waves, and choosing the right moment to pop up.

 

剛開始很難,同時要注意划水、浪況和平衡,但教練會不斷修正我們的姿勢。經過多次嘗試,我終於再次成功站上浪板!
It was tough at first, balancing paddling, timing, and stance, but with the instructor’s guidance, I improved. After many tries, I stood up again—and it felt amazing!

 

烏石港衝浪|課程心得

在夏日陽光下,駕馭海浪真的超棒,是一種會讓人上癮的運動。
Surfing under the summer sun was incredible—an addictive experience for sure.

相較於自己租板亂衝,參加課程最大的好處就是有教練即時指導,幫忙修正動作,讓我更快成功站上浪板。
Compared to surfing alone, the biggest advantage of taking a lesson is having an instructor correct your mistakes in real time, which makes learning so much faster.

另外,蕃薯衝浪還提供攝影服務,能捕捉到自己站板的帥氣瞬間,真的是最棒的紀念!📸
Another highlight—Fanshu Surf provides a photo service, capturing those perfect “first stand” moments. 📸

🏄‍♀️ 衝浪小技巧 Surfing Tips

  1. 選擇合適浪板 Choose the Right Board
    初學者建議使用 長板(Longboard),比較穩定,容易學會站板。
    For beginners, a longboard is recommended—it’s more stable and easier to balance on.

  2. 學會觀察浪況 Watch the Waves
    注意浪的高度、形狀和方向,選擇最適合自己能力的浪,避免危險。
    Pay attention to wave height, shape, and direction. Choose waves suitable for your skill level to stay safe.

  3. 划水時手臂平均用力 Paddle Evenly
    划水力量要平衡,避免浪板偏斜或轉向,能更容易成功起乘。
    Use even strokes with both arms to keep the board straight and make popping up easier.

  4. 起乘時快速穩定 Pop Up Quickly and Steadily
    上板時動作要流暢,重心落在板中央,膝蓋微彎,保持平衡。
    When popping up, move smoothly, place your weight at the center of the board, and keep knees slightly bent.

  5. 保持放鬆 Relax and Have Fun
    衝浪過程中放鬆心情,享受海浪的節奏,比專注在完美動作更重要。
    Stay relaxed and enjoy the rhythm of the waves. Having fun is more important than perfection.

  6. 多練習 Practice, Practice, Practice
    衝浪需要時間累積經驗,多次嘗試才會越來越穩定,也更能享受滑浪的快感。
    Surfing takes practice—repetition builds skill, confidence, and the joy of riding waves.
